Michael Courtenay who married Rosina McAtavey

I hope you are still "on line" as it is at least twelve months sinceI spotted your address and a remark from someone that you had a lot ofCourtenay data on the family in Ireland.

I have a MF who is looking for a Michael Courtenay who married Rosina McAtavey. They had a son also called Michael born abt 1846 and wholater came out to Australia on board the Samarang.

I would be grateful if you had any information on either of them.

I have a connection to the Courtenay family as well in Devon -a Gertrude Courtenay, daughter of Sir William Courtenay, Kt. ofPowderham Castle, married Sir John Chichester, I think they would beabout 12 generations from me.
