Courtney, b. 1833, England-listed in 1881 Canadian Census, Champlain Ward, Quebec-married to Martha, b. 1851, Ireland-W.J. & Martha were parents of Mary A. Courtney, aka Mollie, b. 1867, Quebec-married Thomas F. O'Neill, b. Chicago, in 1889-Mary A. & Thomas were parents of Adelaide M. O'Neill, b. 1903, Chicago-Adelaide was my maternal grandmother who, unfortunately, died not long after my mother was born-lacking O'Neill/Courtney family history as a result.
