comments=I have traced my Courtenay-Courtney back to Isabelle de Courtenay, daughter of Sir Hugh de Courtenay (l248-l29l) and his wife,Eleanor le Despencer (l240-l328). I do have a Courtney lineage, but trying to trace this lineage has been frustrating because I have a Courtney lineage on both sides of my grandfather's and grandmother's genealogy. The lineage that I've traced is independent of my Courtney llineage and I can't predict how long it will take to trace it?
