My great granmother was jane courtenay born in 1846
registered district of Greenwich vol v.

She was my mother's grand mother on her father s side.

His name was sydney henry george barton/Jane COURTENAY
married Thomas alphonsus Barton in 1873 at St.Mary's in LAMBETH.

WE KNOW SHE WAS BORN IN england BUT LIVED IN FRANCE as a child
-fled from France in the middle of the night with her mother
and returned to ENGLAND. We assume she was about 5 or 6.

Trying to trace her parents name...

Jane Courtenay Barton died in Montreal 4 Feb 1928.
I don't know if Jane had brothers or sisters.
