comments=Hi. I am searching for the parents of my great grandmother, Azenith P. Courtney. According to the 1900 census in St. Helena Parish, she states her father was born in South Carolina and her mother was born in Georgia. She married my great grandfather, Samuel D. Smart in St. Helena Parish, Louisiana in 1854-55.

I have found many, many Courtneys through the years that I've been searching for her, but can't put her to a father and mother.
