I have traced my ancestors back to the above named Thomas Courtney who was born in Chittlehampton in Devon circa 1826. I know he died on the above date. I am having problems finding his records prior to 1851 census and would be interested to know if he is connected to your family society. If so I would like to join the society and find more family connections further back. Are you able to advise me if he is connected and/or if you have records that I could access to ?
